How Much Does it Cost to Tint Your Car in OKC in 2020?

Car Tint Shop!

There are several factors that determine the price of a window tint job for your car, truck or SUV. What type of car do you have? How many windows do you want to tint? Is there old film we need to remove? What type of film do you want? Are you looking for privacy, heat rejection or both?As you can see, the cost can vary significantly depending upon several factors. Let’s examine why the price may vary between different films.

Dyed Window Tint

Dyed film is the most affordable film but not always the best quality and not meant to last a lifetime.  A dye is used in the creation process that is added to a layer next to the adhesive which is then applied to the windows of your car. The sun’s UV rays will more quickly fade dyed film. Dyed film will eventually turn purple or brown. It is more of a temporary film that doesn’t provide much heat rejection. We do not carry dyed window film.

Metalized Window Tint

Metallic window tint uses very thin layers of metal particles when it is created to reflect light and is not affected by the UV light. There can be signal interference with metallic film because it contains metal particles. There is some heat rejection with this film but not as much as a ceramic film. It is a good, quality film that comes with a lifetime warranty and is called our Comfort Series.

Ceramic Window Tint

Ceramic window film is the highest quality film you can purchase; it does not contain dyes or metals but instead contains ceramic particles that are non-metallic and non-conductive. Ceramic film doesn’t block cell signals of phones, GPS systems or your car’s computer. Ceramic film will cost a little more because of the advanced, newer technology and all the great benefits of the heat and glare reduction. Our ceramic film line comes with a lifetime warranty and we have several ceramic films we offer.Come visit our store and check out our window tint display in our showroom.
